Yap Trap is a children’s show funded by Heihei and hosted online by TVNZ. The episodes are a mix of bizarre and hilarious skits created by Wade Cowin and Kris Hermansson and bought to life by wonderful local animators, illustrators, writers, voice actors and sound designers.
I was lucky enough to be invited jump in and animate the opening title and other graphics that were designed by Dan Mercer for the show. I was given an initial brand style and a handful of title lockups to use as a basis to create over 70 small snippets of animations to be used as quick cuts in the main opening title and as graphics between the skits.
